During this workshop we will explore how to weave the lunar cycles with our intentions through the year, supported by simple practices like making and burning incense. Katrina uses a spiritual approach to work with these natural cycles while also weaving into practicing with the herbs and plants that grow around us here in Ireland.
Naturally, as the new year draws in we consider what goals we would like to see for ourselves as we plan the forthcoming year. What the moon cycles do is offer a framework to illustrate what time of year would be good to set the intention for particular goals/projects while honouring the gift of these cycles through simple ceremony.
In our time together we will do the following:
1) Learn how to use the Moon Cycles made easy and as different stages of co-creating intentions, focusing on the New Moon, Quarter Moons, and Full Moon.
2) Learn about the different energetic statements of each of the astrological signs and how at the beginning of the year we organise our year according to what sign is best suited to support your yearly intentions.
3) Katrina will show you how to keep track of your 2024 progress through using the Moon Craft 2024 Journal/Planner that is included in this workshop fee.
4) The second half of the workshop we will explore working with the cycles through herbs. We will learn about how to make anoiting oils, how to dry herbs, and will speak to working with nature to ground the practice of working with lunar cycles through creating an herbal incense using herbs that embody the energetic quality of your intention for the new year for you to use at home.
Katrina will also have a selection herbal tonics, sprays, and other goodies available for purchase on the day.
